First, I don't see anything scientific in it at all. I certainly don't see any the "scientific validation." I see a bunch of theoretical examples, and a call to identify with the examples.... not quite something I'd expect in a scholarly work on fear. More like what I'd expect of a sale pitch.

See, I know the one key thing that I need to know to deal with fear and panic attacks. FEELINGS AREN'T FACTS. That's all I need to know. I can recognize my fear, analyze it, see whether or not it's valid, and then move forward. Just because I feel something doesn't mean I have to respond to it.

Sometimes, fear is perfectly valid, and a positive motivating force! Fear gets us to the church on time, so to speak. It keeps us out of dangerous situations, and makes us cautious towards risk. There's nothing wrong with that.

Also, it's not always negative. Fear can be excitement as well! We will intentionally scare ourselves with frightening movies and extreme sports, because we *like* fear. It's thrilling.

Thinking can make a hell of heaven, and a heaven of hell..https://www.blogger.com/profile/00695167212487592726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7902504831906503458.post-83113770753484058602012-05-24T11:37:02.955-06:002012-05-24T11:37:02.955-06:00Thank you for your question about my blog on Feel ...Thank you for your question about my blog on Feel Fear, Surrender and Win. Documented source for the analysis and scientific validation for the pattern of fear was acquired from the Book, "Hope And Help For Your Nerves" By Dr. Claire Weekes, M.B.,D.Sc.,M.R.A.C.P.(a Signet book, pages 14-23). This book is probably the world's best authority covering all aspects of fear.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7902504831906503458.post-62967524111794042172012-05-21T22:01:29.295-06:002012-05-21T22:01:29.295-06:00I'm so sorry! That's an issue you're going to have to bring up with Google. (They recently made some changes to Blogger that have been less than stellar.) Have you tried subscribing from Google Reader's page instead of from my sidebar?

Do you have an error code that it's giving you? Can you describe the problem you're encountering? From their blog: "Friday, July 15, 2011
Some users are reporting that previously-working blog feeds are now showing up as invalid, usually accompanied by a bx-fj78fy error code." Is that's what's going on with you?

Let me know and I'll see what I can find out. If we can't get it working, I'll go yell at Google ;).https://www.blogger.com/profile/00695167212487592726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7902504831906503458.post-78722964255645239512012-05-21T22:00:50.785-06:002012-05-21T22:00:50.785-06:00Guilt is much different than stigma in my mind.
